Keep Claude Code tasks running through network outages. Automatically detects dropped connections and prompts Claude to continue once your network is back online.

You're relaxing at the beach, traveling for business, sitting through a long meeting, or enjoying a friend's wedding or family reunion while Claude keeps working on all your todos. At least, that's the plan...

But unreliable Wi-Fi keeps you wondering whether the session has stopped. Instead of enjoying your time away, you find yourself constantly checking on Claude to make sure it's still working.

Turn Network Resume on before stepping away, and enjoy being fully present with your loved ones! If your connection drops, Network Resume will prompt Claude to continue where it left off once you network is back online.

How it works

Turn on Network Resume before stepping away or when you're somewhere with unreliable Wi-Fi:

/network-resume on

Network Resume monitors your connection for outages and prompts Claude to continue once you're back online.

When you no longer need it, simply turn it off:

/network-resume off

FAQs

Does it work with Codex?

No. Network Resume is built specifically for Claude mod hooks, which Codex doesn't support.

Do I have to turn it on for every session?

Yes. Each new session starts with Network Resume off. Since it continuously monitors your network connection when enabled, there's no reason to leave it running all the time. Turn it on when you expect unreliable Wi-Fi or prolonged outages while your are away, and off when you no longer need it.
