Unfortunately, Xcode's simulators give you screenshots and screen recordings without device bezels. But adding those bezels is what brings your app to life, whether you're showcasing it on the App Store, sharing it on your website or in a blog post, presenting it in a talk, or simply showing it to your boss.

Apple provides device bezels as image files, but you have to find the right one, position your screenshot inside it, and repeat the process for every new screenshot. For recordings, even simple edits like trimming or splitting a video require a separate video editor.

BezelStudio makes the whole process SIMPLE!

  • Just drag and drop. Drop a screenshot or screen recording from the Simulator or your Mac into the app. BezelStudio automatically places it inside the matching Apple device bezel.
  • Choose your device's look. Switch between Apple's device colors, finishes, and orientations.
  • Customize the background. Keep it transparent, choose a solid color, or add a gradient.
  • Edit screen recordings. Quickly trim, split, or delete unwanted sections to create polished app demos.
  • Export your way. Save images as PNG, JPEG, HEIC, or WebP, and videos as MOV or MP4. You can also export individual frames from recordings as images.

FAQs

Why aren't Apple's bezels included in the download?

Apple's device bezels are provided under Apple's own license, so they're not included with BezelStudio. You download them directly from Apple and agree to its license terms.

Note that any Apple bezels used in your exported images or videos remain subject to Apple's license.

Where do I get Apple's device bezels?

Download them for free from Apple's Design Resources.

Do I need to open Xcode to use the app?

No. You can run the included BezelStudio.app directly, without opening Xcode or modifying anything.

If you want to customize the app, add new devices, or build your own features, the full source code and Xcode project are included. You'll need Xcode 27.1 or later to make those changes.

Which devices are supported?

BezelStudio currently supports:

  • iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
  • iPhone Duo (inner and outer screens)
  • iPad Air 11-inch and 13-inch (M4)
  • MacBook Air 13-inch and 15-inch (M5)

Each supported device includes its available colors, finishes, and orientations.

Need support for Apple Watch, older iPhones, or other devices? If Apple provides their bezels on its Design Resources page, you can ask your AI agent to extend the included Xcode project to support them.

Does BezelStudio upload my files anywhere?

No. BezelStudio has no network code. Your screenshots, recordings, and exported files stay on your Mac.

Let your agent check if BezelStudio is right for you.
