## What happens after you buy

1. **Download.** Download the zip. If your browser did not unzip it, double-click it.
2. **Install with Claude.** Open the folder in Claude Code, and ask it to help you install the tool with the steps in INSTALL.md. Some steps are yours: install Node.js if your Mac does not have it, and start a new Claude Code session after the move.
3. **Make it yours.** Ask Claude for a plan of one feature, for example "Plan a settings screen for my app", answer the decisions on the page, and press Go. Then work with Claude to change the tool to fit your work. It is a starter tool.

## What it does

Review a Claude Code change before Claude writes code. Plan Flow publishes the plan as a private Artifact page on claude.ai, where you answer decisions and follow the build.

- **See the big picture first.** Type `/plan-flow` and what to build. The page starts with steps in build order, each with a name, size (S, M or L) and goal, plus the big decisions. It has no code. Each claim has one exhibit, such as a mockup, state machine, call stack, schema or code.
- **Answer in place.** Each decision sits on the step it changes. Claude marks its suggested option **Suggested**, and the page picks no option for you. Choose an option or write another way in the **Notes** box. Press **Go** or tell Claude "go with the plan" to use suggested options for decisions with no answer. **Respond** and **Send to Claude** send your answers, comments and schema edits to the session that published the plan.
- **Follow the build on the same page.** After your go, the commits of step 1 appear. Claude writes code only after you go on that step, then plans commits for the next step. Each commit shows to do, in progress or done. The strip under the title shows the open step and next commit. After each git commit, Claude gets a note to set the statuses. A new conversation in the folder starts with one line about the open plan.
- **Set how much Claude decides.** The **Decide for me** tab controls how much Claude decides alone and whether it stops after each step or continues through the plan. The **TODO** tab holds tasks Claude needs from you, such as a sign-in, setting or check. Each task has steps, a note with up to four screenshots and **Send to Claude**. Claude does not act alone on a sign-in, secret, delete, money or a publish that other people see.

Try it: type `/plan-flow on` in a new session.

## Who it is for

Plan Flow is for developers who build with Claude Code and want to review and steer a change before code starts, especially work that touches more than a couple of files. It is also a source starter for developers who want to adapt a Claude Code plugin with a skill and hooks module. It is not for a one-line fix.

## What you get

One zip with the version that is on sale on the day that you buy. It holds one folder, `plan-flow/`:

- The source: `.claude-plugin/plugin.json`, the `hooks/` module, `skills/plan-flow/` with the skill, page blocks, page runtime, `pack.mjs` and an example plan, `types/index.d.ts`, and `.gitignore`.
- `README.md` and `INSTALL.md`: what the tool does and the full install steps.
- `AGENTS.md`: notes for your coding agent.
- `CHANGELOG.md`, `LICENSE` (the Starter Tool License) and `RELEASE` (the name of the release in this zip).
- `NOTICE`: the MIT notice that stays with each copy.

Source files only: no pre-built program.

## What you need

- Claude Code 2.1.296 or later in the terminal. Tested on macOS 27.0.1 with Claude Code 2.1.296 in the terminal.
- Node.js, for the step that packs a plan page. The plugin loads without Node.js.
- A Claude account on which Claude Code can publish an Artifact.
- If your organization manages your Claude Code settings, those settings can stop a tool that you install yourself, and can stop `--plugin-dir`. Ask the person who manages them.
- The steps give macOS and Linux paths. They give no Windows steps.

## How you install it

1. If your browser did not unzip the download, double-click the zip. You get one folder, `plan-flow/`.
2. Move the folder into `~/.claude/skills/`. The tool is then at `~/.claude/skills/plan-flow/`.
3. Start a new Claude Code session. Claude Code loads the folder in every session as `plan-flow@skills-dir`. There is no install command.

`INSTALL.md` in the zip has every step, and Claude Code can help you with each one.

## It is a starter tool

Plan Flow is a starter tool. You change it to fit your work.

- You can use, copy and change it, for yourself and for your work, in any number of projects.
- The license is for one person: you. Each person on your team buys their own copy.
- A version that you changed in a significant way is yours. You can share or sell it. Give it its own name. Do not say that NatashaTheRobot made it or supports it.
- You must not share, publish or sell the tool as it is, or with small changes only. A new name and new colors are small changes.
- Keep the `NOTICE` file in each version that you share or sell.

You change the files in `~/.claude/skills/plan-flow/`. Then `/reload-plugins` applies your change.

The full terms are in the `LICENSE` file in the zip. The tool comes with no warranty.

## Updates

New versions cost nothing more. To get them, select **Get new versions by email** in your purchase email, then select **Email me new versions of Plan Flow**. The store then emails you a download link each time NatashaTheRobot announces a new release. Each email has a link that stops them.

A new version is a new zip. It does not change the copy that you have.

`INSTALL.md` says how to carry your changes over to a new version.

## Questions

### Can I use it at work?

Yes, for your own work, in any number of projects. The license is for one person: you. Each person on your team buys their own copy.

### Does Claude write code before I press Go?

No. Claude first writes the big picture with no code. After you press **Go** on the page or tell Claude "go with the plan", the commits of step 1 appear. Claude writes code only after you go on that step.
